This blog came out of a lot of faith and love. I welcome you to follow along with me on my journey. I am originally from Frederick, Maryland. It's a growing town within short driving distance of Baltimore, DC, and VA. I still love going back "home" to spend time with family, taking a nice stroll around downtown, and going to eat at all my favorite places. I mean, is it just me or does all travel revolve around eating?
After graduating high school, I moved south and attended Clemson University. I graduated in May of 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management, with a concentration in Special Events. While at Clemson, I fell in love with the events industry, psychology, marketing, rising up to be a leader, and, OF COURSE, I learned a lot about football and tailgating.
I now live in a small coastal town in North Carolina with my husband, son, goldendoodle Maggie Mae and a guinea pig named Jeffrey! Rescuing animals is just in my dna so any chance I get to do so, I do. I've been named the "crazy cat lady" for a reason. I have lost count of all of the cats and kittens that have found their way to me, and then from me to their furever homes.
So now that you know a little about me, I started this website as a blog to share my journey with endometriosis. It is a very tough disease to go through that not everyone understands. I have had 13 surgeries to remove endometriosis from my body and it keeps coming back, even after a full hysterectomy. I lean strongly on my faith to guide me through the ups and downs of daily life and I am happy to share these moments and verses with you! My endometriosis story is a big part of who I am, and I hope to help others cope with it.
You can use the blog tags to read about specific topics. Some articles include links to products that have helped me and others cope with this disease, products/books that have inspired me, and other items I have found useful.
Lots of Love & Blessings,
Megan
